Life can be tricky, and turning challenges into new ways of looking at things isn’t always easy. That’s where someone to help can make a big difference, and I’m glad you’re here.
I understand that starting therapy takes courage. That’s why I’m focused on creating a safe and welcoming space for my clients. I like helping people understand how they think and finding patterns they might not notice. I also enjoy guiding people through their feelings, helping them learn better ways to handle challenging situations, and coming up with new solutions to problems they haven’t figured out yet.
I use different ways to help, like talking about thoughts and behaviors (cognitive behavioral therapy), finding solutions (solution-focused therapy), exploring how you see the world (constructivist therapy), and telling your own story (narrative techniques). I’ve worked with adults dealing with things like feeling anxious, sad, or even thinking about hurting themselves, as well as problems in relationships. I’m also interested in supporting those dealing with long-term illnesses, and helping them with the many challenges they face.
I speak Spanish and English fluently, so I can provide therapy in either language or a mix of both. Because of my own diverse experiences, I’m really committed to helping people who are trying to understand where they fit in as part of minority communities.
