Life is stressful. For kids, adults, and adolescents this rings true. The stresses may change as we grow up, but stress is there all the same. In our time together we will explore these stressors and come up with useful and realistic ways to process and overcome them. We will also explore the impacts they have on our lives and behaviors.
In my work, I tend to use a person-centered approach. I also use techniques from behavioral therapy, family systems, and cognitive behavioral therapies. Every person is unique, therefore I do not use the same approach with everyone. Your therapy will be tailored individually to meet your specific needs.
In my free time, I enjoy being at home with my husband and cat. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts primarily knitting and crocheting. I also enjoy camping with my family and reading.
