Welcome, I am glad you’re here! It takes a lot of strength and courage to begin this journey and you’ve already taken the biggest step.
I wholeheartedly believe that everyone has a story that deserves to be heard and validated. Therapy is a space where you can be unapologetically yourself and have another human sit with you as you share your pain and suffering. It is a space where you can explore your struggles and difficulties with the therapist as a sounding board or mirror. I believe you are the expert of your situation and yourself and you have the answers you are looking for, you just need a safe, judgment-free, and caring space to explore those possibilities.
My goal as a therapist is to help guide you with compassion and empathy as you explore your experiences, emotions, view of self, and relationships with others.
No two stories are the same, so why should treatment techniques be one size fits all? I am dedicated to using an individualized approach, tailoring treatment to fit my clients, their lifestyle, and individual needs. I believe a combination of various evidence-based therapeutic techniques, with a person-centered approach as the foundation, is best.
