I recognize the courage and vulnerability it takes to seek out psychotherapy. Life can be really difficult to manage sometimes, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. It can be incredibly cathartic to authentically connect with and find support from another person. I believe that everyone deserves to have a safe space where they can share their story, regardless of their various identities, background, or personal experience.
Because I believe that you are the expert on your own life, I will join you where you are at and find ways to support you in ways that make sense for you.
Whether you are experiencing difficulties adjusting to a change in your life, experiencing feelings of low self-worth, or having trouble managing stress, I hope to provide you with personalized, non-judgmental care. I primarily utilize a person-centered, integrative therapeutic approach. Some of the various approaches I draw from include feminist theory, multicultural theory, ACT, and CBT
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Psychology from St. Catherine University, and my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas. I have experience providing intensive behavioral interventions for children. Additionally, I have experience providing psychotherapeutic services for adult individuals and couples. I am a Mental Health Practitioner working towards my licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor under supervision.
