You are valid and you deserve to be here. As your therapist, I am here to help you breathe through the stress of adulthood and celebrate your strengths that have brought you here today. Therapy can be vulnerable and even intimidating, so my main goal is to let you feel seen and heard, safe and accepted. I am here to support your mental health journey by helping you feel empowered and learn more about yourself.
My work is driven by a client-centered perspective that is trauma-informed and cross-culturally informed, as I enjoy working with diverse individuals of all races and ethnicities, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have experience providing therapy to female, male, and non-binary adults and adolescents. My experience also includes providing therapy to those who have encountered anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relational issues, and difficulties adjusting to life changes. I especially enjoy working with those who may be new to therapy.
I earned my BA in Psychology from Luther College and my Master of Social Work from the University of St. Thomas. Outside of my work as a therapist, I love to be in nature with my dogs and do lots of crafts! I am honored and excited to get to know you and provide a safe space to explore your emotions and experiences.
