“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” – C.S. Lewis
Life can be so hard! Whether you have been struggling for a while, or newly stumbled on new life struggles know that you are not alone. I am so happy you are here and considering support for whatever journey you are currently on. It would be my honor to work with you by providing you support, encouragement and skills to help you on your journey called “life”.
I believe you will find that I am a very down-to-earth person who is not quick to judge. I will strive to be a person in your life that you can be open with and who will truly listen to understand. In my practice, I primarily utilize a person-centered and strengths-based approach with my clients. My work is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and trauma-informed therapy. I also utilize techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I truly believe that you are the expert in your own life so we can work together to see what is most helpful to you. I love to empower my clients to help me, and help you!
I hope that you will find that I truly will care for you. I aim to be genuine and compassionate in my work and my life. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, camping and snowmobiling. I look forward to getting to know you better and building a therapeutic relationship of trust while helping you to feel better with whatever is currently bringing you here.
