Coming to Therapy for the First Time…
Mindfulness Tip
Life can feel like a series of waves crashing into the shore, bringing challenges and changes. These waves can feel overwhelming and isolating when you are on your own. I want to support you through life’s unpredictability, and help you navigate through the storm to calmer seas.
As a therapist, I focus on our sessions being centered around you and your specific needs, with each session gaining a clearer understanding of your story and what makes you, you. I strive to create a space that feels open, accepting, and non-judgemental for you to share your struggles and strengths. I enjoy working with adolescents through adulthood, with a variety of cultural backgrounds while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral techniques and Dialectical Behavioral skills.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Creighton University and my Masters degree from the University of St. Thomas in Counseling Psychology. I am under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist while working toward independent licensure.
