Are you experiencing feelings of hopelessness, depression, anxiousness, or becoming overwhelmed? Have you been experiencing a lack of community and connection, difficulty with family relations, or a loss of sense of self? These are just a few of the many challenge’s life can bring us. It can be even more difficult to navigate these challenges with minimal support or without the necessary coping strategies in place. It takes courage to seek out and ask for help in your journey towards healing. I value the importance of establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship in order to move towards healing.
I am passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and any individual who is in need of support with a willingness to grow and reflect. I also work with ages 0-5 and have experience with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harming, and suicidal thoughts and behaviors. I do not strictly adhere to one modality, rather, I allow for flexibility to ensure each unique individual is receiving the best individualized plan for their success. Some of my modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, dialectal behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral play therapy.
I strive to work with families in a collaborative manner when working with adolescents and children in order to help give each family member the tools for success. I believe it is important to set attainable therapeutic goals to achieve success while honoring where you are on your journey. I am honored to be on this path with you as we navigate and move towards the healing process together.
I have earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of South Dakota with a minor in religious studies, and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the Minnesota State University, Mankato. I am a supervised clinician on the track for Licensed Professional Health Counselor (LPCC) licensure
