If you’re reading through this you’ve already given some thought to going to therapy. Whether this is your first time starting to think about your mental health or you’ve perfected your intake PowerPoint I’d be happy to join you in your journey. In my office, you can expect to be treated seriously and respectfully while we process whatever’s on your mind.
I think that most of us have a story about our lives that helps put everything in perspective, and I’m here to listen to that story in a compassionate way. Using a person-centered, narrative approach I’ll help you explore your life from new angles and figure out where it comes next, whether that means questioning why things aren’t like they used to be or breaking out of a rut. I specialize in working with adults experiencing, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use issues, men’s issues, and questions around gender & sexuality.
I grew up in central Minnesota before going to college at St. Scholastica in Duluth. I got my Master’s degree in Social Work from Augsburg. In my free time I like to go cycling, rock climb, play soccer, go to Minnesota United games, or anything else physical people are willing to try with me.
