We each experience life in unique, beautiful, and often complex ways. Our stories, including the parts we do and do not choose, can greatly influence our mental health. In therapy, I guide individuals and families in exploring these areas while being trauma-responsive and person-centered.
I am experienced in working with adults and children navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, trauma, grief, difficult family dynamics, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and sensory-processing difficulties. In my work, I strive to empower people to grow and heal to become the version of themselves they desire to be. Using your strengths, I hope that together we can create a plan that you feel is attainable, helpful, and worthwhile. Therapeutic modalities I utilize depend on your needs and preferences but may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
When I am not practicing therapy, I am usually spending time with friends and family, cuddling an animal, going for a walk, or listening to music. I look forward to meeting you and value the steps you are taking in seeking professional support.
