I believe that the best therapy is authentic and empathetic, that all people have the inner strength for healing, and that there is courage in taking the first step in navigating one’s emotional journey. My approach with clients is collaborative, you are the expert of your own story. With humor, warmth and no judgement, I can support you in navigating your own unique interpersonal challenges. Common issues that I address in therapy include: coping with grief/loss, living with chronic illness, relational concerns, issues related to autism, anxiety disorders and depression. I work with adults from all backgrounds. As a health care provider, I especially enjoy working with individuals experiencing chronic illness. I am also passionate about providing space through the difficult journey of grief/loss, a journey that is not easy to take alone. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, being outdoors, planning my next big adventure and spending time with my husband, two cats and newly adopted dog.
