We all have a purpose in life, along with gifts and abilities to fulfill that purpose. My goal is to help you achieve your purpose by walking alongside you as you go through difficult times. I believe that relationships are the key to change. Healthy relationships with ourselves and others not only empower us to overcome the pain and hardships of life, but also promote personal growth. I will provide a safe and trusting environment where you can experience the power of healthy relationships and discover ways to build and maintain them for change and transformation.
I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. I have a heart for underserved people, including racial and ethnic minority groups, international adoptees, immigrants, and anyone who has not had an opportunity to be understood. I have done various outpatient and in-home work with children, adults, and families, and have been a community educator providing psychoeducation and mental health-related workshops such as Emotion Coaching. I provide individual, couple, and family therapy using approaches in TEAM-CBT, DBT, EMDR, Gottman Couples Therapy, mindfulness, and strength-based therapy. I also provide premarital counseling using Prepare/Enrich.
