I believe that you are the expert on your own experiences. I approach therapy with curiosity and humility, and strongly believe that healing happens through supportive relationships. This is the environment that I seek to provide, along with tools to help you cope with and overcome the challenges that life throws your way. I have my Masters in Social Work from Simmons University and I am a Licensed Graduate Social Worker. I work with individuals ages 6 and older on a variety of concerns, including trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, gender and sexual identity exploration, neurodivergence, and attachment. I am experienced working with people living with HIV, individuals struggling with substance use, domestic and sexual violence, and the LGBTQIA+ community. I use modalities including motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, and attachment theory. As a queer, transgender person, I am familiar with the ways that LGBTQIA+ identities can impact life, mental health, and ease in navigating the world. I am also familiar with the joy and connection that can come from being a member of this community. Because of this, I am particularly interested in working with transgender and non-binary people, to help you find ways to move toward more joy, acceptance, community, and self-love.
