Everyone is deserving of a space to decompress, learn about themselves, and heal. In therapy, I will ensure a calm space to feel safe, understood, and empowered as you take steps towards a better, more comfortable life. I work with individuals sixteen and older of all varying identities, backgrounds, and experiences. As a Black woman, I hold an intrinsic passion to work with clients of color by providing a safe, supportive environment for healing and growth. I am also dedicated to working with people in recovery or impacted by substance use. My area of expertise includes substance use and addiction, anxiety and mood disorders, trauma recovery, and schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. I take a holistic approach to therapy by incorporating various modalities and research practices into the therapeutic space. Specifically, I work from a lens of addiction science, interpersonal psychotherapy, and a humanistic perspective. I see therapy as an opportunity for collaboration amongst myself and the client to reach optimal goals of healing.
I admire your strength in taking the next step toward healing, and I would be honored to join you on your journey.
