Greetings and welcome! My name is Crystal, and I am so happy you’re here.
It is an honor to be considered for your healing and personal wellness journey! It takes a great amount of strength to seek out help in times of need, and I am so proud of you for taking the first step. I look forward to getting to know you and exploring your personal strengths, goals, and aspirations in life.
My goal for our time together is to create a safe and welcoming environment where you can be your most authentic self as well as feel supported and heard. In my practice, we will create a plan that best suits your needs. We will utilize a person-centered and strengths-based approach that is supported by integrative body-mind-spirit and wholistic techniques.
One of my favorite rappers J. Cole has a song called “Love Yourz.” He expresses that there’s always going to be someone who has a nicer car, someone with more attractive clothes, or someone with a house that is bigger than yours, but you are never going to be happy until you love yours. I’d like to offer you a safe and secure space to explore self-love, healing, and growth where we can practice “loving yours.”
I received my bachelor’s degree in social work at Minnesota State University, Mankato. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree from The Ohio State University in social work with an emphasis in children and youth services. In the coming years, my goal is to obtain my LICSW.
Outside of CARE counseling and my academics, I love to listen to music, spend time with friends and family, work out, and cook! Shopping is most definitely my guilty pleasure!
