Choosing a therapist is no small decision and I understand that clients need to be choosy about who they work with. As a generalist practitioner, I pride myself on my ability to curate therapeutic approaches and modalities to the needs of individuals, couples, and families of all identities. I approach therapy with a warm invitation to unpack life’s challenges in a safe place and within a safe therapeutic relationship. I most often use a reflective and insight-oriented style of therapy to aid in a client’s deeper understanding of their needs and healing. I believe the privilege to hold space for clients is sacred and at times, requires a bit of light-hearted humor.
My theoretical approach is psycho-dynamic including attachment and trauma informed perspectives with feminist-based world views. I most often utilize interventions from modalities such as CBT, DBT, exposure response prevention, internal family systems, ACT, and general psychoeducation. As your potential therapist, I offer a warm, casual style that feels welcoming to new clients and come to the therapeutic space with lived experience as a mother, wife, dog lover, photographer, and believer in social justice advocacy. I would love to connect with you and see if we would be a good fit.
