Hello, I’m Jenna! I’m a masters-level counseling student at Capella University. My approach to therapy from a person-centered foundation, showing up with authenticity, empathy and a genuine curiosity about each person’s story. I also appreciate incorporating Adlerian theory and techniques which allow us together to explore strengths, develop goals and insight, and helps clients find meaning and direction in their lives. I have had the privilege of working with clients with a wide range of backgrounds, each bringing unique needs and perspectives. This has included diagnoses of SPMI, depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, substance use, couples and families who are looking to strengthen relationships or better understand themselves and each other. In any setting, my goal is to create a warm, structured and supportive environment where any client can feel safe to lead their own healing process while knowing they are not alone in the process.
In my personal time, I find joy and grounding where I can, but mainly in my home. I love spending time with my family, which includes my dog and cat. I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes, reading mystery or fantasy novels, and painting as a creative outlet. I find a lot of joy in curating a comforting space and hope to carry that into future sessions.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the power of genuine connection. I strive to bring honest, and warmth into every therapeutic relationship, trusting that when clients feel truly seen and understood, meaningful growth can begin to take root
