Whether you’ve been in therapy for years or this is a new experience for you, welcome! I seek to build a safe and open environment through earning your trust. I approach therapy from a lens of curiosity and strongly believe that healing and change happens through supportive relationships, including your relationship with yourself. I also recognize how our social environment and the identities we hold play a major role in both the challenges we face and our strengths.
As a queer, transgender person, I am familiar with the ways that LGBTQIA+ identities can impact how we navigate the world, including relationships, mental health, family, and medical care. I am also familiar with the joy and connection that can come from being a member of this community. Because of this, I am particularly interested in working with transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse people seeking to move toward more acceptance, community, and self-love.
While I work with a variety of concerns, my focus areas are Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, and phobias. I am trained in and provide Exposure and Response Prevention for treatment of OCD, and utilize this with the goal of helping you to build trust in yourself and reclaim your life.
