CARE Counseling Announces New Doctoral Internship
CARE Counseling is thrilled to begin offering a Doctoral Internship opportunity for the 2024-2025 training year! CARE will offer internship positions to Counseling and Clinical Psychology doctoral students currently enrolled in accredited graduate school programs across the nation.
The CARE Counseling Internship Program (CCIP) offers a highly structured, empirically grounded, and supportive training setting to gain a generalist outpatient mental health experience. At CARE, the mission is “Building a Community to Strengthen the Community,” by providing a clinical environment that embraces learning, professional growth, and a high standard of training to ensure emerging psychologists and clinicians are trained to provide evidence-based care.
The CCIP follows all guidelines established by the American Psychological Association as well as the Association of Psychology and Postdoctoral Doctoral psychology internship Centers (APPIC). Find out more about the CARE Doctoral Internship here.
About CARE’s Training Platform
CARE focuses on the training, development, and sustainability of the team so that CARE’s clinicians are grounded and supported to provide high quality evidence-based services for the community. For over eight years, CARE has been established by local accredited graduate programs as a practicum site for master’s and doctoral level students. Notably, CARE Counseling is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor of continuing education (CE) for psychologists. CARE’s training platform offers greater accessibility for clinicians to receive quality accredited training, to support them in providing excellent care to the community. All CARE training and training curriculums, of over 100 CE hours annually, are included for their team at no cost to the provider.
