Hello! I am glad you are here. Starting therapy is a huge step and can bring up many emotions. I also recognize that I am a stranger you are telling your life story to. My goal is to create a trusting, collaborative, and warm therapeutic space. I strive to help you achieve your goals, gain insight into you as a person, and be your best self. Throughout my education and clinical experience, I learned that everyone needs someone who can meet them where they are in life without judgment.
I work individually with adolescents, teens, and adults to help them recognize that their thoughts and feelings are simply that – they don’t define who you are as a person. I have a special interest in working with individuals experiencing OCD, high levels of anxiety, interpersonal struggles, and life transitions. I use evidence-based techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I work from a trauma-informed and social justice-oriented lens to serve the whole person. Additionally, I am trained in and can provide Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to individuals with OCD.
I received my master’s in social work at St. Catherine University and am working to obtain clinical licensure. Outside of therapy, I enjoy making art, listening to crime podcasts, going on walks, and spending time with my German Shepherd mix, Moose. I look forward to meeting you!
