Portia is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. She enjoys working with adolescent, adults, and families using evidence-based practice and person-centered treatment modalities. Additionally, she has worked with diverse population with an array of mental health symptoms, such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, ADHD, ASD-related challenges, co-occurring Substance Use Disorder, Mood Disorder, Schizophrenia, and Major DepressiveDisorder.
Portia strives to actively participate in client support services with a team with an optimistic commitment to help individuals and families to become independent life-long learner. She has experience using modalities such as Psychodynamic, CBT, ABA, Systemic approach, Mindfulness-based interventions in addition to having an extensive research background in Trauma-focused CBT. Portia is passionate about providing quality services to individuals and families in the community.
