Hi! I’m Nichole and I am so happy you have decided to explore your therapeutic journey at CARE counseling. Brene Brown said “We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” – Therapy can give you the support you need in order to do life together with the humans that surround you.
I believe that each person is unique in their passions, desires, strengths, and shortcomings. Therefore, each relationship is unique and can easily get tangled up. Whether you are a parent struggling with your relationship with your child, a couple feeling stuck in a hard place, or any other combination of humans in relationship, therapy can help begin to untangle the web of stress. I will come alongside you and set your relationship in motion towards a place of peace. I create a safe and welcoming environment in our therapy sessions where you will be met with non-judgment, compassion, empathy, and positive energy. You are the expert on your experiences, and I will validate and attentively listen to your unique story.
In our work together, you & your child, you & your partner, or you & yourself will begin to learn about your unique differences and the reasons behind your behaviors. You will learn the dance of navigating one another’s anger & needs. Ultimately, we will work towards building a tool kit of skills that can provide you with opportunities for connection instead of detachment. In doing so you can experience the unbridled joy of restoration in relationship rather than suffering through confusion, conflict, and anxiety. I provide LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy, creating an intentionally warm and non-oppressive environment. I look forward to meeting you!
