Hi! I’m Nichole and I am so happy you have decided to explore your therapeutic journey at CARE counseling. Brene Brown said “We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” – Therapy can give you the support you need in order to do life together with the humans that surround you.
I believe that each person is unique in their passions, desires, strengths, and shortcomings. Therefore, each relationship is unique and can easily get tangled up. Whether you are a parent struggling with your relationship with your child, a couple feeling stuck in a hard place, or any other combination of humans in relationship, therapy can help begin to untangle the web of stress. I will come alongside you and set your relationship in motion towards a place of peace. I create a safe and welcoming environment in our therapy sessions where you will be met with non-judgment, compassion, empathy, and positive energy. You are the expert on your experiences, and I will validate and attentively listen to your unique story.
In our work together, you & your child, you & your partner, or you & yourself will begin to learn about your unique differences and the reasons behind your behaviors. You will learn the dance of navigating one another’s anger & needs. Ultimately, we will work towards building a tool kit of skills that can provide you with opportunities for connection instead of detachment. In doing so you can experience the unbridled joy of restoration in a relationship rather than suffering through confusion, conflict, and anxiety. I provide LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy, creating an intentionally warm and non-oppressive environment. I look forward to meeting you!
