Hi! I’m Nichole and I am so happy you have decided to explore your therapeutic journey at CARE counseling. Brene Brown said “We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” – Therapy can give you the support you need in order to do life together with the humans that surround you.
In my role as a therapist, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective support to individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and family/relationship transitions. I employ a client-centered approach, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each person, couple, or family. I create a safe and welcoming environment in our therapy sessions where you will be met with non-judgment, compassion, empathy, and positive energy. You are the expert on your experiences, and I will validate and attentively listen to your unique story. My goal is to empower individuals to develop coping strategies, enhance resilience, and foster a positive mindset, facilitating their journey towards improved mental well-being and a more fulfilling life.
In our work together, you & your child, you & your partner, or you & yourself will begin to learn about your uniqueness and the reasons behind your behaviors. You will learn the dance of navigating your needs alongside the needs of others in your life. Ultimately, we will work towards building a tool kit of skills that can provide you with opportunities for connection instead of detachment. In doing so you can experience the unbridled joy of restoration in relationship rather than suffering through confusion, conflict, and anxiety. I provide LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy, creating an intentionally warm and non-oppressive environment. I look forward to meeting you!
