Navigating life can be complicated and confusing. Complex interpersonal relationships, major life changes, traumatic events, and managing mental illness can add even more stress to the mix. No matter what may have led you to begin this journey, therapy is a great way to tackle these problems head-on. Everyone deserves a safe and secure place to vent their frustrations, deconstruct harmful patterns, and find support in pursuing any goals they want to see through.
In my practice, I strive to create an open, supportive environment for individuals to explore the possibilities of what life could look like. I utilize aspects of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based Perspectives, and Mindfulness in my approach.
I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and I am currently in the midst of pursuing my Master of Social Work degree. I grew up in Southern Minnesota and, when not working, I enjoy spending time outside and hanging out with my two cats.
