Welcome! We all struggle at some point in our lives. If you are here, it means that you have chosen to take the first step to seek help for yourself or your child. This often is a huge step, and I understand, a very difficult step. It is important to know that seeking help is not a sign of weakness but of courage. Emotional problems are often a sign of trying to be strong for too long.
In my office, I believe that everyone needs a place where they feel like they can be heard. I also believe that everyone has the power within themselves to change. However, life circumstances often cause them to stop believing in themselves and/or have difficulties trusting others. Through our work, I use a client-centered and attachment/trauma informed approach to help you and/or your child be able to grow. I am passionate about bringing hope and healing to children, adolescents, adults, and families, as well as learning their stories.
I was born and raised in the Twin Cities, although I attended graduate school in Chicago at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, playing with my dogs, and swimming. I also am a firm believer in self-care. My favorite forms of self-care include drawing, coloring, and doing puzzles.
