I will walk side by side with you through your struggles and offer empathy and compassion. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know my clients and hope to become that unbiased sounding board you need in your life. Common issues I address are living with a chronic illness, coping with grief/loss, feelings of anxiety, depressed mood, and difficult life adjustments. I can talk with you about different calming strategies when dealing with stress and how to work through those racing thoughts you may be having. I come from a strengths-based perspective and strive to build an inclusive environment in our shared therapy space. I offer knowledge in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I work with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. I have had the privilege of working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, including individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community, and I will ensure my door is always open to people of all backgrounds.
I have years of experience in the mental health field, working with a wide range of ages including adults, adolescents, and children. I have worked as a mental health case manager, employment specialist, community development manager, and as a school social worker. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, walking through nature, playing video games/ board games, and mornings in my backyard with a cup of coffee. If you have any questions about working with me, please feel free to reach out.
I am excited to hear about your life’s journey and hope to work with you in the future. I know seeking help is never easy but you’re in the right place and there has never been a better time than now!
