My approach is rooted in noticing, supporting, and celebrating the “wins,” helping my clients adjust thoughts and behaviors focusing on their unique lived experiences. I enjoy supporting my clients through their stories and identifying where small shifts can make a big impact. Taking a person centered, strength based, trauma informed approach, which emphasizes looking at the whole individual, allows me to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients.
I have worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds who struggle with various symptoms including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ – related, gender or identity related, family relationships, substance abuse, and school-related stress. I work with adolescents and adults of all ages, across all cultures, and identities.
I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents with autism, developmental disabilities, and social- emotional or behavioral difficulties. As an educator turned therapist, I previously enjoyed working as a Special Education teacher and direct support professional for both children and adults experiencing a range of diagnoses and mental health symptoms. It is an honor to continue to support our community in my therapy work.
I am currently accepting new clients and offer both in-person or telehealth appointments, though I prefer in person if you are up for it. Contact me to get the help you need.
