I strive in providing a compassionate therapeutic environment that empowers and supports individuals on their journey toward personal growth and healing. My approach is focused on creating a safe space to be able to overcome obstacles and cultivate a deeper sense of self-confidence and resilience. In partnering with me, anticipate a humble approach characterized by curiosity, validation, and a sprinkle of humor as we strive together toward wellness.
I have experience working with children ages 6 and up, adolescents, and adults across the life span. I am passionate about working with individuals with diverse, intersectional backgrounds. My niche is on areas of trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, gender and/or sexual orientation identity, life stressors, family dynamics, and coping with grief/loss. I like to implement trauma-informed practices, as well as elements drawn from client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and solutions-focused therapy.
Being a queer, neurodivergent woman, I find fulfillment in supporting individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community and those who are neurodivergent, including those on the autism spectrum. My approach is inclusive, respectful, and aims to create a safe, supportive space. In my free time, I love to play/listen to music, go on bike rides, read and write, and spend time with family, friends, and my cats. Embarking on therapy marks a brave stride towards healing and personal growth. It would be a privilege to journey with you through your challenges and growth
