Invest in Yourself (and Others)
Going back to school, learning a new skill or hobby…these are examples of things that you can do to invest in yourself. Volunteering is a great way to make meaningful connections with others while making a difference in the lives of others.
Notice the Good Things
Notice the positive thoughts, emotions, and experiences and the people, places, and things that are associated with these.
Fill Your Bucket
Showing love and appreciation by saying or doing something kind for others, can in turn bring joy and “fill your bucket” and other people’s buckets too. Smiling, a kind gesture, a sincere compliment, sharing a moment in laughter or conversation are small but significant gestures that can quickly spread joy.
Understand what you Value
By understanding what you value, one can make decisions that align with their values. This can lead to living a more authentic life, filled with joy.
Be available for mindful moments…mindful eating, mindful movement, mindful sex. Take the time to savor pleasurable moments that bring you joy.
Enjoy Time with Family and Friends
Appreciate time with those you have chosen to be part of your family and friend group. Have fun playing and laughing together, while creating happy memories that will last a lifetime.
