I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and have worked in both inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings. I work with adolescents, families, and adults who are ready to learn, be challenged, and take control back from the eating disorder. My goal is to help you have a more peaceful relationship with food and your body; while also helping you resist the pressure of diet culture and the harmful message that your worth is defined by your appearance.
In addition to eating disorders, I also support individuals struggling with panic attacks, constant anxiety, perfectionism, low self-esteem, depression, and body image issues. I often work with people who tend to be really hard on themselves to learn new ways to relate to their thoughts and feelings with more compassion.
I also love sports, including chess (which, I argue is a sport), and walking my dachshund. I also enjoy reading and am growing a collection of unfinished books.
