“Self-awareness is the gateway to transformation; it doesn’t guarantee it, but you can’t get there without it.” –Rob Reimer
Transformation is an intentional process that requires courageous exploration of one’s beliefs, emotions, behaviors, and family and cultural backgrounds. I use a holistic, relationship-centered, and strengths-based approach to help people find paths to healing and discover life-giving ways of being with themselves, loved ones, and the world. This integrated approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, internal family systems therapy, emotion focused therapy, and object relations family therapy.
For more than two decades, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in couples therapy, helping partners identify their contribution to relationship patterns and gain new skills to improve communication, intimacy, and relationship satisfaction. As an immigrant and a woman from a collectivist culture, I am acutely aware of the challenges and privileges of living in this place and time. It would be my honor to walk beside you as you do the hard work of healing, growing, and transforming.
