Taking care of our mental health is an essential part to maintaining whole body health and wellness, allowing humans to thrive instead of just survive. I am honored to support clients with their mental health and wellness journey. I approach sessions with an empathetic, trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and pull from my experience using solution-focused, CBT, and attachment-centered modalities. I have provided crisis mental health care in emergency room settings for over 2 years, giving me a calm demeanor even when a situation may be tense or scary. I have a passion for and special interest in working with perinatal and neurodivergent populations, and enjoy supporting clients with parenting struggles, anxiety, trauma, and suicidal ideation.
I have a CAMS-Trained certification to process suicidal ideation within the CAMS (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality) framework. I have also completed 14 hours of Postpartum Support International (PSI) Perinatal Mental Health training, working towards achieving my PMH-C certification. I currently hold a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) license and am close to my goal of achieving my independent license (LICSW)!
Outside of providing therapy and nerding out about mental health, I enjoy being a mom, listening to podcasts and music, cooking, and being outdoors (except for during winter!)
