I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and have worked in both inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings. I work with adolescents, families, and adults who are ready to learn, be challenged, and take control back from the eating disorder. My goal is to help you have a more peaceful relationship with food and your body, while also helping you resist the pressure of diet culture and the harmful message that your worth is defined by your appearance.
In addition to eating disorders, I also support individuals struggling with panic attacks, constant anxiety, perfectionism, low self-esteem, depression, body image issues. I often work with people who tend to be really hard on themselves to learn new ways to relate to their thoughts and feelings with more compassion.
I also loves sports, including chess (which, I argue is a sport), and walking my dachshund. I also enjoy reading and am growing a collection of unfinished books.
