Life is tough. Understanding and dealing with the emotions that come with life’s challenges can be overwhelming at times. Reaching out for help can be just as hard. Therapy is the perfect place to learn more about yourself, get help through difficult times, and make lasting life changes that will help you live the life you want. I don’t have a magic solution that will change things or make things better, but I believe therapy offers a safe space that will help you learn about and understand yourself so that you can find the solutions you need. I care deeply about the people I work with and believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of therapy. In my work, I will nonjudgmentally listen, ask questions, validate, and help you identify patterns, while working to understand you and your unique life experiences. Together, we will identify your strengths, areas for growth or change, and make a plan together to help you meet your goals in therapy.
I am a generalist in clinical psychology and have had experience working with a variety of people. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and parents. My experience working with children gives me a unique perspective of what we deal with as adults and helps me understand the challenges of being a parent. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques and try to tailor my approach to the needs of each person I work with.
