Life comes with its own challenges and finding a therapist should not be one of them. There are times in life you may need extra support to navigate the challenges life throws at you. It is my hope as your therapist, that together, you and I can work through the obstacles to get you to the other side.
While working together you should feel safe and supported. I work to develop a trusting and empathetic foundation with my clients.
I hope to make you feel open to sharing and not feel judged or ashamed of your experiences. I work with adolescents and adults. My experience includes working with children and adolescents who have a history of abuse, dealing with emotional difficulties (including anxiety and depression), and working with life transitions. I have worked with children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting providing crisis support and dealing with concerns related to suicide, self-harm, or aggression toward others. I have worked with adults who have been diagnosed with mood disorders, personality disorders, and medical concerns. I have experience working with many diverse populations and am mindful when working with patients.
I earned my Master of Arts at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. I am currently a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota. In therapy, I meet the patient’s where they’re at and help individuals become more self-aware, and understand their worth in order to hopefully reach their full potential.
In my spare time, I enjoy being outside, running, using my Peloton, and horseback riding. I am an expert in Netflix binging and spent most of my time hanging out with my boyfriend and two dogs.
