Welcome! Let’s first take a moment to acknowledge that you are contemplating or have decided to come to therapy, which takes courage and is something to be proud of. My approach to therapy integrates person-centered, strengths-based, and relational styles, while staying rooted in trauma-informed and holistic care. I am also informed in multicultural counseling. Before landing at Care, I was most recently involved at a nonprofit where I co-facilitated a support group and DBT group for adults of all ages and with co-occurring disorders. My previous work experience has primarily been with young adults and adolescents with a wide range of diagnoses at a high-acuity residential treatment center that mainly utilized cognitive, attachment, and family systems styles. I also volunteer for the Crisis Text Line. As your provider, I will support you, process with you, challenge you, simply let you vent and be heard, and above all root for you. A little bit about me outside of work: I grew up in Minnesota, though I have spent time living and traveling out of state and abroad. A few things that bring me joy are being present in nature, live music, my cat Mowgli, and (let’s be real) reality tv. Do not hesitate to reach out with further questions or if I can be of service to you.
