What started as an initial curiosity of human life experiences, how our thoughts, emotions and behaviors influence our wellbeing, and interactions between individuals that turns into the interest in engaging in effective work to engender positive impact in one’s life.
Change is a challenging process that we’ve all been through, but once you recognize the power of choice that you have the ability to make the changes you want in life, you will start to feel more empowered in your journey of self-exploration.
I believe in an integrative approach to counseling, where I adapt an intervention to best suit each situation individually, by drawing from different methods such as person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as experiential approach such as mindfulness and relaxation techniques when appropriate. My aim is to provide a safe, respectful unbiased space for one to share their life adventures, regardless of where you come from and what your story is. I like to ask and explore novel questions that help to guide one to investigate unique perspectives in life and explore the unexplored alternatives while empowering one to embrace the changes they made based on the choices they made.
By fostering open, honest, and unprejudiced communication, I can help to unravel mystery that interferes with the tranquility of mind by connecting the missing pieces and putting them together to reveal the bigger picture.
