Asking for support is a difficult first step. It is an honor to hear your story, share this opportunity to heal, and be a witness to your journey. My role as a therapist is to meet you where you are with whatever you are facing. I strive to provide a safe and affirming space to explore areas of discomfort, fear, joy, and pleasure.
I enjoy working with teens, emerging adults, and middle-aged adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodivergence. We all come to therapy with intersecting identities, and I aim to integrate the impact of the sociopolitical into our exploration.
My approach is ultimately eclectic, person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I believe our minds and bodies hold much of the road map for healing – you are truly the expert on your journey. The modalities I utilize most often include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Sensorimotor, and Polyvagal. I am also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) for obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Outside of therapy, you can find me working on my yoga practice, reading, and spending time with friends in the community. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with an MSW in clinical mental health. I am currently working on obtaining my LICSW in Minnesota.
