Asking for support is a difficult first step. It is an honor to hear your story, share this opportunity to heal, and be a witness to your journey. My role as a therapist is to meet you where you are with whatever you are facing. I strive to provide a safe and affirming space without judgement. I enjoy working with teens, emerging adults, and middle-aged adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, and OCD. We all come to therapy with intersecting identities; holding space for and exploring how these identities interact in our world is at the core of my practice.
My approach is ultimately eclectic, person-centered, trauma-informed, LGBTQIA2S+ and neurodiversity affirming. I believe you are truly the expert on your journey. The modalities I utilize most often include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodynamic, Polyvagal, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy working on my yoga practice, reading, watercolor painting, and being in the community.
