“And still, I rise.” -Maya Angelou
Finding a way to rise when you’re being weighed down by life’s stressors can feel impossible sometimes. But reaching out for support is one of the bravest, most effective ways to kickstart growth and healing. No matter who you are or what you’re going through, I’m glad you’re here. I would feel privileged to offer you a compassionate space where you are free to explore your identities, experiences, challenges, and strengths without judgement. I take an individualized therapeutic approach to each client, centering your unique goals at the heart of your treatment. I am informed by CBT, psychodynamic theory, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. I am rooted in my commitment to continually address systemic oppression and advance social justice movements.
I often work with people who are going through life transitions, addressing their trauma, coping with grief+loss, or managing depression or anxiety. I especially enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. As a proud member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, I am passionate about working with people who hold these identities, as well as folks of all ages who are interested in exploring their gender and/or sexuality.
In my free time, I love to play music, read fiction, explore the outdoors, and hang out with my dog! Please reach out if we can be part of each other’s stories.
