Does something seem off? Are you feeling overwhelmed? Have you been going through a tough time? When you’re not feeling like yourself, day-to-day life can be difficult and therapy can be a way to help with that. I believe each person has a unique experience that will shape what support and healing looks like for them. I would be honored to help guide and be part of your healing process.
At Care Counseling, I provide individual therapy to folks ages 13 and up who have challenges with trauma, depression, anxiety, stress management, identity development, grief, and life transitions. My therapy is informed by CBT, ACT, Person-Centered Therapy, and Feminist Therapy. My goal is for you to feel comfortable and be the one leading our sessions.
I received my Masters of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and I am currently under supervision while working towards clinical licensure. My internship experience was working with survivors of sexual assault and helping them to process their trauma and to develop healthy coping skills. My undergraduate degree was in Education and Social Studies from Hamline University which allows me to understand the nuance of a school environment and how it can impact an individual.
