There are many challenges and complications in life. Sometimes, the support of friends and family is enough to help us through these moments. Other times, more support and guidance are needed. I am so glad you have found us here at CARE Counseling, open to having us support you on your journey!
My approach to therapy integrates Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) with a Multicultural lens. Some people do better with more structured sessions, while others thrive on more flexibility. I feel that these two approaches allow me to tailor sessions to the unique needs of each client, based on your circumstances and preferences. You know yourself best, and I aim to create a collaborative environment where we can discover your path to healing together.
My goal in therapy is to help you build tools and find resources that will assist you in processing and overcoming challenges, both those you are facing now and those you may encounter in the future. I work with people of all ages who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficulties with life transitions. My particular interest lies in working with children and adolescents. Additionally, my prior experience involves working with adolescents on the autism spectrum with various racial and ethnic identities.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me and my approach to therapy. Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
