Welcome and I’m so proud of you for making it this far! Therapy can be intimidating, so I am here to support you and walk with you on your journey. My philosophy is that you are the expert in your own experiences and I am just along to help guide you as you need.
In sessions, my goal is to create a safe and comfortable place for you to be your authentic self and to listen and understand you as you tell me your story. I focus on your strengths and help you to find the tools that you need to meet the goals that you set for yourself.
Professionally, I have worked with infants, adolescents, and adults through individual, couple, and family counseling. I have an intimate knowledge of the healthcare system and the grief, trauma, and transitions that come with health difficulties and diagnoses. Through my experiences in healthcare, I have worked with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds. I received my bachelor’s degree in Music and Social Work from Concordia College Moorhead and received my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Baylor University.
Personally, I enjoy spending time with my cats, horses, family, and friends. I play the flute in community bands in the area and I enjoy crafting and being outside when the weather is nice.
