You have made a very brave decision to begin your journey in therapy to tackle the symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My approach is based on the idea that our struggles are due to not having enough room inside of us and this congestion is because of the traumas, abuses, and overwhelming and neglectful experiences we have had in our lives. My work is to help awaken the inner healer within all of us. This inner healer can create safe space between each of our inner helpers and protectors so they can be heard and felt and evolve into healthier collaborative coping patterns and strengths. I also focus on how trauma can affect our relationships, work, and ability to pursue our goals and enjoy life. Using somatic body-based techniques, I teach people how our nervous system keeps us safe and how to befriend it and join it in a pursuit of transformation.
Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with family. I like to collect and watch classic and foreign films as well as listen to classical music. I also enjoy reading, chess, taking walks, and trying out new restaurants.
