Hello, I’m Manee (she/her) and I appreciate you being here!
In my approach to therapy, I believe therapy thrives on compassion, connection, and a collaborative relationship. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you feel genuinely heard, seen and supported. No matter where you are starting from, we will work together at your pace. It is important for my clients to feel safe and to explore what matters to them most while showing up as their authentic selves. At the heart of my work, my goal is to walk alongside you as you navigate your unique journey.
My therapeutic approach to therapy includes utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, informed by Feminist Theory and Relational Cultural Theory. My passion lies in helping individuals work through personal growth, interpersonal relationships and dynamics, identities, bicultural/multicultural identities, cultural expectations, emotional processing, and systemic impacts through a compassionate and culturally grounded framework.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hamline University, and am currently a Master’s Clinical Counseling Student at the University of Saint Thomas. In my previous roles, I’ve worked with neurodivergent children and children who have experienced complex trauma, acute life stressors, and emotional/behavioral challenges within a clinical and school based setting for 4 years.
In my personal time I enjoy working out, practicing Muay Thai, and reading. I also enjoy spending time with my partner and family-friends!
It is a privilege to be here with you, and I am honored to be doing this work. One quote from my favorite show called ‘Avatar The Last Airbender,’ from a character named Uncle Iroh is: “Sometimes life is like this dark tunnel. You can’t always see the light at the end of the tunnel, but if you just keep moving…you will come to a better place.”
Whether we meet at the beginning or halfway point through the dark tunnel, I look forward to supporting you on your journey as we navigate the tunnel together.
