I strive to create a safe space to explore challenges and aspects of ourselves that we may not have fully accepted yet. In therapy, I offer support to help you better understand yourself, try on new perspectives, and feel empowered to make positive changes that enhance your quality of life.
My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy and building a trusting relationship. I value each person’s unique story, challenges, and strengths. I work collaboratively with you to create an individualized approach tailored to your needs. Together, we’ll identify the factors that contribute to distress and help you develop the confidence and skills needed for a healthier path forward.
I specialize in working with children and adults, offering support for anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and substance use. My experience in outpatient settings has allowed me to work closely with clients across various age groups, particularly focusing on children struggling with anxiety. I also enjoy working with families to address behavioral concerns, using creative and engaging methods like arts and crafts to help children express themselves and develop coping strategies. As a pre-licensed clinician under supervision, I use evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while striving to create a non-judgmental and supportive environment where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts and feelings.
Originally from North Dakota, I have called the Twin Cities home for over six years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling to new places, and exploring bookstores.
