Hello and welcome! My name is Maggie, I use she/her pronouns. I truly believe that you are the expert of your unique experiences and I strive to help clients tap into their own resilience and strengths. My goal is to be a safe space for my clients where they feel heard and feel safe to explore themselves, their experiences, and/or their relationships. I welcome clients from all backgrounds, races, and ethnicities. I provide couple, family, and individual therapy to clients of all ages. I especially enjoy working with clients that are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, teens, and older adults. I truly believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of my work and I strive to always bring my genuineness, kindness, and empathy into every session.
In my work I use an integrative approach to therapy often drawing from models such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative, and solution-focused. In my work with couples I often use the Gottman method as a way to help improve communication and increase understanding. I’m a pre-licensed therapist, working towards my License in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT). I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University. Outside of my work I’m a very nerdy person (with too many interests to list here…) and you can often catch me watching tv, reading, crocheting, playing sims, or scrolling on Tiktok.
