Hey there! Thanks for being here. It takes courage to ask for help, and I’m proud of you for doing so! Life can be difficult and present us with many challenges, and it can be difficult to face these challenges alone.
Therapy is a wonderful resource for receiving additional support in various areas of life. In order to have a supportive relationship with a therapist, trust and empathy are crucial. I am here to provide both. I take an approach of building a trusting and safe environment with my clients by developing a relationship based on empathic listening and positive regard. Creating a space for you to process your thoughts and emotions is my #1 priority. Additionally, in order to best aid my clients in facing life’s many challenges, I provide skill-based interventions in order to help my clients to learn and utilize coping skills in order to manage symptoms in daily life. Common symptoms I work with include: depressive symptoms, anxious symptoms, and trauma-related symptoms. I work with individuals of all ages and particularly enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I am passionate about my work with clients and welcome the opportunity to work with individuals with diverse backgrounds and identities.
In my free time, I love to play with my daughter, spend time outdoors, and go on spontaneous adventures (+ travel)! I look forward to meeting and working with you soon.
