My approach to therapy is centered around a trusting and open therapeutic relationship. I believe that the therapeutic relationship serves as a tool to increase healthy communication skills, resilience, problem-solving strategies, self-compassion, empathy, and hope. My goal is to collaborate with each client to ensure that the therapeutic space is safe and conducive to their unique healing needs.
I am passionate about showing up authentically as your therapist. Others describe my personality as calm, curious, compassionate, and creative. I believe laughter is one of the best forms of healing, and you will likely catch us laughing when it is appropriate and therapeutic for you.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, which inherently means that I value relationships and see them as one of the most important aspects of our well-being. Whether you are working with me individually or in the context of a relationship, we will discuss how your relationships impact the way you function. I work with adolescents (12+), adults, couples, and families.
When I am not working, I enjoy reading, traveling, expressing myself through movement or art, and having a good laugh with my friends or family. I look forward to learning and growing with you during the therapeutic process.
