Description of Services: Many children and adolescents encounter difficult situations growing up. Counseling is a great first step to help children and adolescents learn to control their behavior, deal with challenges of new life situations, or cope with their emotions can lead to a myriad of benefits later in life. Therapy assists children and adolescents in developing new and effective skills for behaving, coping with feelings, and interacting with others. The psychologists at CARE Counseling understand that a child’s behaviors may reflect challenges and experiences in different areas of their life.
Our psychologist work with individuals from infancy to adulthood to help them prepare to deal more effectively with life’s obstacles and challenges; children may be seen individually, with their families, or in group. Psychiatric and medication consultation is also available as needed.
